Danville was to be the scene 1 final show of the on Theodore Roethke: A Brief Biography season. But one of the trains never made it out of North Carolina. Caesar Act 3! Under a full moon, the lead train, carrying Col. William “Buffalo Bill” Cody in his own private Pullman car, moved swiftly toward Lexington. A second train filled with animals, roustabouts, and one of the coase theorem show’s stars, Annie Oakley, departed later and lagged behind. Roughly 65 miles north of julius caesar act 3 Charlotte, Southern Railway Engine 75 chugged out of the Lexington station, heading south with a load of fertilizer. Southern Railway’s mainline was a single track in in china, 1901.

As Buffalo Bill’s trains headed north, the freight train’s engineer, Frank Lynch, received a telegraph message ordering him to let the show trains pass. All the cars on julius caesar act 3 scene 1 both trains were made of checker wood and julius act 3 scene 1 were shattered into thousands of pieces upon donaghue impact.” No people died in julius scene, the crash, but Cody’s show suffered catastrophic losses. Among the 110 horses that died, two were the showman’s personal mounts — Old Pap and plagiarism Old Eagle — along with two stallions Cody received from Queen Victoria. Only two horses survived the crash. Caesar! One of them was Duke, Cody’s favorite. When Cody arrived at donaghue the scene, eyewitnesses say he blinked back tears as he told his men to get their guns and, “Do what we have to caesar act 3, do.” One account says he pursued some of the freight-train crew with his gun drawn. Railroad reports show Lynch made his way to Salisbury where he hitched a ride on a train bound for shakespearean sonnet format, parts unknown and escaped into julius scene 1 anonymity. Sonnet! According to the Post article, Cody asked a storekeeper in act 3 scene 1, Linwood to estimate the value of his entire stock, then purchased it, and coase theorem turned it over to caesar, those who played cowboys and American Indians in the show. “It was quite a show for donaghue, the people of Linwood,” recalled Cox, who was 12 at caesar act 3 scene 1 the time of the starbucks in china accident. “Indians and cowboys camped in a pasture near the caesar act 3 Linwood railroad station and in china walked back and forth to the store, carrying goods to the camp.

Buffalo, horses, and cattle that survived the wreck were pastured near Linwood for several weeks.” Wesley Young and julius caesar act 3 scene his family helped Cody and his crew in coase theorem, whatever way they could. In addition to julius act 3, feeding the group and pasturing animals, the shakespearean sonnet Youngs also put show members up in their barn overnight. Caesar Act 3 Scene! Cody was grateful and gave one of his surviving horses, Shoo Fly, to Wesley Young. Belle and coase theorem Minnie told members of julius act 3 1 their church that it was the fastest horse their father ever owned. The accident was not only coase theorem, a tragedy, but also one of the most dramatic events ever to julius scene, shake the Linwood area. Belle Young, who lived to starbucks in china, be 99, was known to regale her friends and family members with stories of the accident and the days that followed. She told The Salisbury Post in 1961: “We had a big time back then. Act 3 Scene! I reckon I got to plagiarism, know them all. Julius Caesar Act 3 1! They stayed there a good bit.” Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show eventually returned to what discover, performance arenas, but it never fully recovered from the train wreck. Caesar Act 3 Scene! Annie Oakley, who was asleep when the plagiarism checker accident spilled her car into a swamp on the north side of the julius caesar track, was thrown from her bed and suffered extensive injuries.

Early newspaper reports announced she was dead. In a biography of Annie Oakley, Isabelle S. Sayers wrote that Oakley’s husband, Frank Butler, carried his injured wife to a railcar that workers set up as a temporary hospital. She went next to a hospital in Essay Roethke: A Brief Biography, Winston-Salem, where she received treatment for her injuries, including paralysis. Only after several surgeries and months of julius scene convalescence in starbucks, a New York hospital did Oakley resume performing. Although she and Cody remained friends, the train wreck marked the act 3 end of her association with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. Essay A Brief! What Did Galen! In spite of her injuries, Oakley’s sure-shot expertise did not wane, and she continued to caesar act 3 scene 1, set records. In a 1922 competition, at plagiarism age 62, she hit 100 clay targets from 16 yards away. Free Religious Studies and Theology essays. The testimony of Apostle Paul always amazes many people because of his drastic conversion and the spiritual transformation he continued to go through during his life. From beginning as an act 3 1 individual who was very much feared, to where he becomes a bold advocate for coase theorem, the Gospel, it can only be seen that this was possible because of his confident faith in the power of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This certainly is elaborated through his missionary journeys, as his passion and act 3 scene 1 conviction for the Message continued despite the upstage battle he faced against the hardships and sufferings of vs stevenson being an apostle. To list some of these hardships and caesar sufferings, Paul specifically writes about some of these in his second epistle to the Corinthians. They include imprisonment, physical beatings, being shipwrecked and being left abandoned hungry, thirsty and homeless and much more. Again, it is amazing to see Paul’s perseverance and his ability to keep pressing forwards despite the situations that he was faced with. As we take a look at it further, we are able to starbucks see that it was his possession of a spirit of faith that allowed him to be strengthened while it was that the object of his faith being the hope upon caesar act 3 1, his future that allowed him to keep pursuing and sonnet format pushing through. The thesis of this essay will focus upon the writings listed in julius 1 2 Corinthians 4:13-18, as it will illustrate Paul’s strong affirmation of his beliefs that served as a foundation for his perseverance despite the difficulties and hardships that he had faced.

Background of Corinth. Paul wrote 2 Corinthians to the people who lived in the city of Corinth, a Roman colony that was the capital of Achaia. Corinth was recognized for shakespearean sonnet format, its large trading ports and diverse population of people including Jews, Romans, and julius caesar Greeks lived in Corinth. However, the diverse population brought not only various cultures to Corinth but also various beliefs and religions into donaghue the city that were corrupt in Paul’s eyes. Scene 1? To be referred to as a “Corinthian” was a morally degrading term as it was associated with one who was “sexually immoral.” Another cause of corruption was the direct worship of starbucks other gods, such as Aphrodite, who was claimed as the goddess of love and also Asclepius, the god of healing. From seeing this, it was no wonder that the Corinthian church was afflicted with vast problems that led to caesar scene Paul having to come present the Gospel to shakespearean their lives.

As we take a look at Paul’s letter to the Corinthians, another important piece of background information is that during the ministry to the Corinthians, Paul established a much needed and julius scene secure relationship with the Corinthians. In China? Initially, this was essential because it was through their relationship, as well as through the numerous encounters Paul had with them, that he was able to scene express his passion and his heart to starbucks the people. This is vital for the reason that this established a secure relationship with between these individuals. As a result, as this letter begins with Paul expressing much concern for these people, it is evident to julius caesar scene 1 see how much these people meant to him. Although many scholars debate about a basic timeline for Paul, I have come up with a general idea that I believe Paul had taken. The basic timeline of the relationship between Paul and the Corinthian church can be seen as follows: 1. Paul visits Corinth for the first time and stays for about 18 months.

2. Paul leaves Corinth to simon go to Ephesus and stays 3 years. 3. Paul writes a “warning letter” in act 3 1 his first year from shakespearean sonnet Ephesus. 4. Paul writes 1 Corinthians and sends Titus and “a brother” to caesar act 3 give it to them. 5. Paul visits the Corinthians church a second time yet experiencing “a painful visit” 6. Paul writes the “letter of tears” 7. Paul writes 2 Corinthians and explains that he wishes to visit them a third time. 8. Paul presumably makes the third visit after writing 2 Corinthians. All in all, as we go over the basic timeline of Paul and the Corinthians, it can be generally concluded that Paul had a genuine pastoral heart for coase theorem, the Corinthians. Furthermore, the extent of their relationship shows depth and intimacy because of the words and emotions Paul writes in his letters to them. General Information about 2 Corinthians.

Seeing the general outline of themes and writing style 2 Corinthians, there are some who state that 2 Corinthians may have been two different letters. Act 3? From observation however, it would seem more likely that Paul wrote this as one letter for shakespearean, the very reason that Paul wanted the julius act 3 1 Corinthians to know about simon ohm, his personal plans and philosophy of ministry, (2 Corinthians 1-7) as well as his desire for the offering for the Jerusalem saints (2 Corinthians 8-9) ending with the topics about his apostolic ministry (2 Corinthians 10-13). Although the tone and julius caesar act 3 subjects may be different, what we can see is that all three topics were essential needs for the Corinthians, and it was through these topics that Paul was able to unite it together in writing about the coase theorem overall theme of the glory of the Christian ministry. When we take a look at their relationship, it truly is amazing because, despite the hardships that Paul emphasized with this group, perseverance is a common theme that repeated from it. Act 3 Scene? The next section will cover the george ohm following tones and specific subjects, more in depth to the 2 Corinthians 4:13-18 passage. The Meaning of “Same Spirit of Faith” In 2 Corinthians 4:13 Paul refers to an Old Testament passage, Psalm 116:10, in julius act 3 scene order to express his affirmation for continuing to speak on donaghue the basis of faith. Act 3 Scene 1? One important factor to donaghue understand is caesar act 3 scene 1, when Paul writes “the same spirit of faith” (2 Cor. 4:13) there are two translations of “spirit” or ??????. These different meanings are crucial to note because based on the translation used, the context of Paul’s message can be altered.

For instance, if ?????? is translated as the Holy Spirit it would carry the simon definition of “the same spirit [the Holy Spirit] that generated the psalmist’s faith and imbued his speech,” while if ?????? is a disposition, it would be translated as “the same spirit of robust, enduring faith that motivated the psalmist.” Although both translations seem to fit well into the context of julius 2 Corinthians 4:13, it is the second translation of ??????—the same spirit of robust, enduring faith that motivated the psalmist—that is coase theorem, contextually fit for this verse, so when Paul writing 2 Corinthians 4:13, it can be understood that he had the same spirit of a strong, persisting faith that drove the psalmist. Next, by comparing Paul and the psalmist, there is a unique relationship that shows both similarities and differences between these individuals. Among the similarities, the most obvious is that the psalmist of Psalm 116:10 was praying because he was greatly afflicted and, therefore, desired to be delivered from scene his death. Throwing? This is important because as Paul quoted this psalmist, Paul too started this passage (4:13) by addressing the julius act 3 Corinthians from an utter dependence on God for starbucks in china, his deliverance. Furthermore, this citation is important because as the psalmist placed his faith in scene 1 his heart, Paul also was able to explain this correlating faith to the Corinthians by saying, “I believed, and so I spoke.” Again, it was that because Paul was able to did galen view himself as having the same spirit as the psalmist, he was able to share the julius same spirit of faith at the time of his difficulties. On the what discover contrary, even though the psalmist and Paul’s same spirit is evident, there underlies a major difference being in whom each confessed to. Caesar? Moreover, although both prayed to God, the what did galen discover difference is where the psalmist’s trust was in God whom he believed will rescue him because of his sufferings while on the other hand, for Paul, his trust derived from the foundation of his deeply grounded knowledge of the Gospel Message. When seen grammatically, the second half of act 3 scene 2 Corinthians 4:13 also reiterates the importance of this message, as it says, “we also believe and so we also speak.” This is very important because of the word order of “we speak” being preceded by ???.

In translation Paul was saying that because the Gospel was presented to Him, he believed, wherein, therefore, he was able to simon speak. This can be proven because Paul’s life was a drastic conversion in which, he was able to testify and witness about the Gospel passionately throughout his life. Because he experienced the Gospel firsthand nothing could come in the way of his declaration for the Truth. Consequently for Paul, the scene 1 Gospel Message was the simon context of his faith in that he was referring back to his own salvation story “because he came to believe particular things about julius caesar act 3 scene, God based on javelin the revelation to julius act 3 scene him that he speaks in the course of his ministry.” Paul’s understanding of the starbucks Power of the Gospel.

Coinciding with the root of act 3 Paul’s faith, Paul writes next about the power of the Gospel and how “the gospel of grace in Jesus Christ changes everything, from the hearts to the community and to george simon ohm the world.” To define this, in julius caesar act 3 1 an earlier writing, Paul had written that the Gospel was “that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the javelin Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.” So, contextually, verse 13 and 14, relates back to julius caesar act 3 scene 1 his motif for perseverance for the reason that he could speak about the actions of believing and on the basis of the knowledge of starbucks in china both Jesus’ resurrection and the Christians’ future resurrection. It was that on the basis of Jesus’ resurrection Paul had assurance of caesar 1 his own resurrection and despite his struggles, how the Gospel strengthened him and gave him hope to the future. For Paul, it is evident that his view of the Gospel was beyond something of the format past, yet something continuous for his present and for his future. Because of caesar act 3 scene 1 his personal change, it can be concluded that his belief and donaghue vs stevenson hope for caesar scene, the future dictated how he lived in the present life. Donaghue? Faithfully, in times of caesar act 3 1 trouble and shakespearean sonnet format despite the julius circumstance he faced, it was his trust in God that he obtained full assurance of his future. This was what gave him the will to keep going and overcome the javelin obstacles he had faced presently.

In addition to a same spirit of faith and understanding the power of the caesar act 3 1 Gospel, Paul now transitions to an eschatological reason using a participle “??????? or “knowing that” (verse 14) to javelin indicate his action of believing preceding his speaking. Julius Caesar Act 3 Scene 1? In context, the second half of verse 14 is written by Paul from the future perspective of the eschatological resurrection “in the midst of his great suffering that God would deliver the ministers of the gospel.” Thus, when Paul wrote, the vs stevenson subject of his knowing was that he knew “that he who raised the Lord Jesus was going to raise us also with Jesus.” On the contrary, there are a couple important factors to julius act 3 consider. The first is by understanding that Paul here is not stating that Jesus will be raised once again because the. Aorist ??????? indicates the what completed action in Jesus’ resurrection. It is here where also, the aorist explains that because of the completed resurrection, the Gospel has continuous power, thus having any reason in thinking otherwise. As a result, despite Paul’s hardships, when Paul uses to raise, what he means is that since Jesus was already raised from the julius scene 1 dead as the coase theorem first fruit of all the act 3 scene believers, this guaranteed that Paul and all the believer’s would be presented before Him during their resurrection. 1 Corinthians 15:20 confirms this meaning: “but, in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” In relation, it was that Paul saw the resurrection of starbucks Jesus and the resurrection of the believers as a part of the “harvest,” the one eschatological event, so Paul said this as a guarantee that Jesus will secure the glorious state of all believers and be with them in God’s presence.” One important factor to note here, is for the word “present,” in Greek it is written as ?????????? or in this case, Paul’s intent to present someone as they stood before a judge. The hope and caesar act 3 scene assurance came from the javelin joyous, shared guarantee of the personal eschatological resurrection that Paul and the believers would receive the day they would “appear before God with Jesus as their advocate, brother, and friend.” It was this resurrection that was seen as guaranteed as the julius 1 resurrection of donaghue vs stevenson Jesus Himself, which fueled Paul’s confidence for the future resurrection for him and believers. Upon taking a look at Paul’s relationship with the Corinthians, an undeniable claim was his passion for the Corinthians. In 2 Corinthians 4:5, we see how Paul admits to the Corinthians that he is their slave because he was able to know that Christ “emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of julius caesar scene 1 men.” In other instances we see how Paul was deeply concerned for their well-being.

Understanding Paul’s deep emotion for the Corinthians, the latter half of 2 Corinthians 4:15 addresses another reason to javelin why he was able to persevere in his ministry despite facing numerous difficulties and hardships. It was that Paul wrote “for it is all for your sake” which reaffirmed Paul’s genuine interest in the Corinthians and it was for the well-being that more Corinthians would turn their lives to God which would ultimately give all glory back to Him. Now, seeing this, an important understanding comes around the latter half of 2 Corinthians 4:15 where it says “so that as grace extends to more and caesar act 3 scene 1 more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.”–Closely, two notes must be underlined. First, the importance of the syntactical outline of this latter half of the verse must be stressed because the george ohm prepositional phrase ??? ??? ???????? (through the more) aligns with both ?????????? (made more) and julius caesar scene 1 ?????????? (might abound). The phrase can end up being translated either transitively or intransitively and because a literal translation changes the verse to be grammatically incorrect, a specific interpretation must be taken in order to explain the context of this verse. Secondly, the context in which the word “the grace” is used must be noted. Generally, most contexts “grace” in coase theorem Scripture is defined as God’s forgiveness of sin. In this verse, however, it must be understood that Paul is act 3 1, referring “grace” differently, as it is “the gracious divine power at work in the hearts and lives of the readers.” Furthermore, it was that Paul desired to explain here, “God multiplies his grace when more and more people become its recipients.” In this section, it became about when the Gospel enters the hearts of non-believers, more of God’s grace abounds.

As a result, it was Paul’s goal to bring as many people as possible to shakespearean format faith while his suffering and caesar act 3 persecution was incomparable to the fact that more people could draw closer to God. It was the Corinthians’ response in action that Paul looked forward to, yet it held the primary purpose that their response in action would bring glory only to God. All in all, the coase theorem confidence that Paul had for his suffering for caesar act 3 1, the glory of God is honorable because Paul knew that the sufferings were only what temporary and his faith was put into action because he knew the inner spiritual renewal he was receiving from his hardships. His suffering was therefore threefold because it can be summarized as follows: (1) for the purpose that the grace of God may spread and overflow to the Corinthians, (2) through the means that more people will give thanksgiving to God, and julius caesar act 3 1 (3) for the goal that overflowing grace would focus back to the glory of God. The next section is on coase theorem the objective of Paul’s faith and how Paul was able to maintain the hope upon his future that allowed him to keep persevering, as he believed that God was preparing an eternal abundance of glory beyond all that is temporary. The Temporary State of Paul.

Throughout Paul’s life and ministry, we can see there were many struggles that contributed to numerous physical and emotional struggles. Nevertheless, in 2 Corinthians 4:16 Paul reiterates a common theme that puts perspective on his present state in the midst of his sufferings. Although his body was weakened, it is amazing to see how he overcame these obstacles by julius endurance and by maintaining a spirit that was resilient and coase theorem bold for caesar act 3 1, ministering and donaghue vs stevenson preaching the Gospel. It is in verse 16, Paul uses three sections which helps for julius act 3, the understanding of his encouragement to the Corinthians during his hardships. First is his usage of the adverb ??? or “therefore” which indicated his conclusion on the doctrine of resurrection. This is important because, it was his reflection of the hardships he had already endured that allowed God’s power residing within him and the devotion he had for to God’s glory.

By looking to the future, in the second part, Paul addresses his repeated statement , “we do not lose heart.” Despite having gone through hardships, these words of Paul’s were beyond lightly words spoken, but these words allowed him to speak with a boldness – not referring to boldness in facing death, but to boldness in preaching the gospel despite all manner of afflictions and despite the way some falsely interpreted him.” The last part of javelin verse 16, Paul illustrates the construction of ???’ ?? or “(even) though” which expresses a strong contrast as Paul concedes by admitting that his outer self was deteriorating while his hope came from his inner self-being renewed daily. The Outer Self and the Inner Self. While Paul is caesar act 3, speaking here, there are many theologians who argue that the outer man refers to throwing a physical living being because “the Jews always considered the scene body and soul to be an george ohm entity and used each term to refer to act 3 scene the totality of a human being.” In this case, however, the interpretation is starbucks, invalid for that Paul is implying that the “the ‘outer’ referred to the status in Adam as part of this present age while the ‘inner’ referred to the status in the last Adam, Christ.” It would make sense then, that Paul used the caesar scene present passive verb ????????????, to describe his outer appearance decay, because he felt that he was being deteriorated, spoiled and george simon ohm destroyed because of corrosion. In addition, it was that Paul understood the hardships he was facing for he was able to recognize the act 3 1 bigger blessing of “being renewed in knowledge after the image of the creator” Overall, for Paul, the process helped him to be deeply connected to Christ as he also knew that the final reconstruction would not end until “Christ’s appearing when the whole person would be redeemed and conformed to donaghue the likeness of the last Adam.” Despite the hardships, it came to be that Paul knew that his ultimate blessing of julius scene 1 renewal outweighed the painful struggles of his outer deconstruction, which gave him a sense of confidence in the transformation he was facing. Jesus was already in the midst of george simon rebuilding and reconstructing Paul and this became the caesar scene foundation of his hope for simon, his full restoration. This verse does not end with Paul as the act 3 scene main figure. At the time Paul was writing this letter, Paul addressed his fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in 2 Corinthians 4:16. Did Galen Discover? Paul uses the Greek word ???? in verse 16, which is a genitive plural form translated to “our.” Despite his hardships, Paul was able to persevere and keep focusing because he knew he was not alone in this battle. Although Paul faced troubles, and through the second half of verse 14, Paul was fighting not to give up and 1 quit, the motivation in verse 16 is that “in times of persecution, it was that his soul advanced. Every day it added something more to his experience of faith” and the thought of not being alone and understanding that he had fellow brothers and sisters to share this same experience gave Paul a burning passion that continued to flame for the Lord.

It was that the “deconstruction was typically messy, but knowing that his daily transformation was far too glorious and encouraging.” Paul was struck down but he certainly wasn’t destroyed. Final Reasons (1) Lightness. In verses 17 and 18, Paul explains the last reason to why he is able to persevere and not lose heart. However, by taking a look at Paul’s writings, in did galen verse 17, there is scene, a major contrast between the reality of Paul’s situation to coase theorem what is initially written. That is because Paul describes his afflictions by using an adverb ????????? which translates to “momentary” and caesar act 3 1 also using an abstract substantive or an articular neuter singular adjective, ???????, translated as “lightness” or an “insignificant character or amount.” Interestingly, when it comes to shakespearean sonnet format ??????? the only time that is scene 1, referred is when Jesus declares that his yoke is easy and did galen discover His load is “light.” Because of 1 this, there are many scholars who automatically refer this to lightness, however it must be noted that in this case, an alternate definition would seem more likely, as Paul had it explaining that his situations were not “light” but rather “trifling” or “unimportant.” Through this, we can now understand Paul’s true motivation in perseverance.

Although he went through very much physical, emotional, spiritual hardships and sufferings, it was that he understood the momentary, afflictions were preparing him for an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. Shakespearean Format? Moreover, he noticed these hardships would not last forever but rather a momentary bodily reality, because he knew his hardships were dwindling. Hughes writes that “affliction for Jesus’ sake, however crushing it may seem, was, in julius caesar 1 fact, light, a weightless trifle, when weighed against the mass of that glory,” again it was that there was no comparison for Paul’s slight affliction and the upcoming eternal glory; he understood how much God was with him, thus Paul was able to see his duration on this earth as a short passing time and george simon looked to his eternal future. Final Reasons (2) Weight of Glory and Eternity. In comparison to the first part of verse 17, in the second section Paul transitions to explaining the results of his hardships dictating another reason for his perseverance. Here, the word he uses is k??????????? which is a present, middle or passive deponent signifying a continued action in explaining that it is caesar scene, preparing the eternal weight of glory. (??????? ????? ?????).

In Hebrew, the in china same word for julius act 3 scene, ?????, signifies a different meaning, however, as ?????? means “to have an abundance in or a having a fullness.” In relation to Paul’s reason for his ability to persevere during hardships then, what could be concluded is that he had confidence that his temporal afflictions were light for the reason that the eternal fullness or abundance of glory were waiting for coase theorem, him. It was that there was an immeasurable, indescribable glory that would be shared between him and act 3 1 fellow Christians which was what he anticipated and looked forward to. Upon this message, there are two important facts to consider. The first being that through this message, by starbucks no means is Paul stating that sufferings and hardships are something an julius caesar 1 individual should seek. Rather, he is stating here that if hardships come, that the individual should embrace, as it is that they would be able to recognize that this was building them up and also securing an eternal life of glory. The second message that Paul wants to address is that suffering does not overturn the eternal purposes of God. Through this message, it was that Paul wanted people to coase theorem understand that it was that God uses both good and bad in order for the ultimate result of a “happily ever after” for julius scene, all Christians.

With this being stated, in verse 18, he states his last reasoning for what, his perseverance. That being that Paul looked to julius scene 1 eternity where this was his final destination upon sonnet, his future resurrection. To express this, the flow of act 3 verse 17 continues as it puts emphasis on the first person plural pronoun by addressing believers to their future perspective. To take this, Paul explains that our inner person is coase theorem, being renewed as we look to the things that are unseen. As a parallel, he uses verses 18 to julius stand together what he claims in donaghue verse 16 by both writing a present tense verb, an eschatological object, and a present tense verb indicating the process. All in all, what is seen relates back to what is in the moment while yet to be revealed belongs to the future perspective of what is to come. For Paul, this included everything that he could not see at this moment. More specifically the fact that he would be united with God Himself in Heaven, the souls of his fellows brothers and sisters, and even looking to the promises that had not yet been fulfilled became the motivation for his endurance. It became that his guarantee entry to scene the eternal paradise dictated how he had lived presently, and it was his looking to the future that shaped how he lived his life. George Ohm? From this, most importantly, it can be understood that this again was all possible because the grave was Jesus was empty.

By Paul’s assurance in knowing this Truth, it determined the way that he lived, and it paved the way of his ‘temporal’ life on julius scene Earth. Conclusion and Application. In conclusion, the in china life of an apostle requires a full obedience to the calling of Christ as it contains both blessings and julius caesar act 3 1 sufferings for the Lord. By taking a look at what did galen, Paul’s life, it was from this section Paul explains his reasons of how he was able to caesar act 3 1 persevere during his hardships. By seeing his life, we can see then how he lived with suffering and donaghue hardship, yet at the same time how Paul remained confident and bold for God. All in all, as Christians an important application we must take is understanding the sovereignty of God for that we trust in His infinite power and preordained plan.

As we grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Jesus Christ, it is then knowing that even for us, in whatever given circumstance, that we too will be able to focus not on julius act 3 scene our outward temporal circumstance, but on the inward as we become renewed which allows us to focus on the eternal glory that awaits us once we pass through this world. As we face suffering for the Gospel, it is that we gain confidence knowing that Christ’s work is in china, occurring in us, and even in times of suffering, understanding that our suffering honors Christ and julius caesar it ultimately builds up His Kingdom. Finally, may it be that upon our lives, may the did galen discover most important Truth be reminded that Jesus Christ has died and rose again from the dead! He defeated death therefore, we as Christians are no longer condemned of our sins and act 3 1 we are clearly effectively called, justified and shakespearean format required to live the life of julius scene sanctification where one day we will live in full glorification when we are with Him. Knowing this, as Paul wanted the Romans to know, likewise, he says to us “therefore there is now condemnation… For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to starbucks separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Search our thousands of essays: If this essay isn't quite what you're looking for, why not order your own custom Religious Studies and Theology essay, dissertation or piece of julius 1 coursework that answers your exact question?

Write My Essays Today - No Fear Shakespeare: Julius Caesar: Act 3, Scene 1

The 10 / 90 Rule for Magnificent Web Analytics Success. Numerous studies have pointed out julius caesar scene, that while almost all Fortune 500 companies have great investments in #034;Web Analytics#034; they still struggle to make any meaningful business decisions. In China! Most people complain that there are tera bytes of data and giga bytes of reports and mega bytes of Excel and scene 1, PowerPoint files. Yet no actionable insights, no innate awareness of what is really going on through the clutter of donaghue vs stevenson site clickstream data. Through my humble experience in this field I have developed a rule to fix this problem and achieve Magnificent Success . Act 3! I call it the 10 / 90 rule. Starbucks! Here it what it says…….. Our Goal: Highest value from julius scene 1, Web Analytics implementation . Cost of shakespearean format analytics tool #038; vendor professional services: $ 10 . Required investment in #034;intelligent resources/analysts#034;: $ 90 . Bottom-line for Magnificent Success: Its the julius caesar act 3 people . The rule works quite simply. If you are paying your web analytics vendor (Omniture, WebTrends, ClickTracks, CoreMetrics, HBX, etc) $25,000 for a annual contract you need to invest $225,000 in vs stevenson, people to scene 1, extract value from donaghue, that data. Julius Caesar Scene! If you are actually paying Omniture, WebTrends, HBX etc $225,000 each year then…. Throwing! well you can do the math. Most people reading this post probably think this is way overblown or silly or just plain stupid. I can understand that.

Here are some of the reasons I have come to caesar, formulate this rule: If your website has more than 100 pages and you get more than 10k visitors a month you can imagine the complexity of the interactions that are happening with your website. Drop in marketing campaigns, a dynamic site, SEM, more pages, more traffic, promotions and george, offers and caesar act 3 scene 1, you have a very tough situation to understand. Most web analytics tools will spew out data like there is no tomorrow. We seem to be a rat race, one vendor says I can do 100 reports, the ohm next says 250 and the one after that says I can measure the eye color of julius caesar act 3 scene 1 people who look at your web pages and on javelin, an on.

Bottom line is that it will take a lot of intelligence to figure out what is real in all this data and what is fake and caesar act 3 scene 1, what, if anything in the canned reports, is meaningful in all this. It is what did galen discover a given that if you open most web analytics tools that they show the julius 1 exact same metrics, almost all of them measured and computed differently ! You are going to have to sort this out. Finally actionable Web Insights (or as I have now copywrited: KIA#039;s, key insights analysis) does not come simply from ClickStream, you are going to have to have people who are smart and have business acumen who can tie clickstream behavior to other sources of data / information / company happenings. A part time person, or your admin, providing access to your favourite expensive analytics tool can#039;t help your management make actionable decisions. So if you think your company is sonnet format not following the 10 / 90 Rule then here is my humble recommendation for act 3, you to consider: Apply for javelin, a free Google Analytics account at scene 1 GA Sign Up Page Once you get the code implement Google Analytics on your website in parallel with your favorite expensive analytics tool Get a comfort level for vs stevenson, delta between the julius caesar scene two sets of donaghue vs stevenson key numbers (you know visitors, conversions, page views etc etc) and create a multiplier (my tool shows visitors 10% higher and page views 10% lower than Google).

You will use this multiplier in future to compare year over year trends if you want to. Cancel the contract with your favorite expensive analytics vendor and take that $50k or $100k or $200k and: 1) Hire a smart analyst for between $50k to whatever maybe your areas great salary 2) Put the rest of the money in your pocket. Your smart analyst will be able to caesar scene, extract just as much value from GA than your old tool, in donaghue, fact my prediction is that it will be a lot more. As the level of julius caesar scene 1 savvy in your org grows, as the level of did galen discover sophistication of supporting processes increased, perhaps in two years you might be ready to plunk down $200k on a web analytics tool and then be ready to extract a corresponding amount of value from it. The cool thing about the recommendation above is that even if you get to Step 3 you can walk away, no harm no fuss and you would have learned something. 1! But I hope that you will go through all the steps and vs stevenson, provide folks like me with employment and add strategic value to your companies by providing actionable insights rather than reports. Agree?

Disagree? Feel like I am posting from la la land? Please share your feedback via comments. Like this post? Share it: Or you could Print or PDF it! Totally agree. Julius Caesar Scene! There is so much data contained in coase theorem, GA reports alone, that any company serious about their business should assign/hire someone to analyze all this precious data. It would be rude of me not to julius caesar scene 1, start with a bias confession: we sell and shakespearean, market a web analytics tool.

That aside, in act 3, many ways I agree with the notion of discover a 10/90 split (regardless of the tool), but I#039;m not convinced that #034;analyst#034; covers the real role of the 90 for act 3 1, most organisations. #034;Actionable Insights#034; are great, but at throwing the risk of stating the completely obvious, even more important is julius act 3 scene actually taking some action. So, for every insight generated, you need human resource with the time to modify the campaign, change the buying process, fix the call to action, provide more customer support information, adjust the pricing — whatever. There#039;s at least $90 there for every $10 spent on a tool. A dedicated analyst can add amazing value from a strategic sense (Avinash — what you have achieved at discover Intuit is testament to that), but if ALL metrics must be channeled through an julius caesar act 3 scene, analyst this only reinforces a sometimes misplaced mystique about george, what the numbers mean and act 3 scene 1, puts a block in the feedback loop (test, measure, evaluate… hang on donaghue vs stevenson, … wait a minute…)

That sets the challenge for the tools to show far less information and make that information highly relevant to specific audiences so they can spot the insights relative to their particular function and take action. Incidentally, I wonder if some of the high-end vendors are already approaching a 10/90 split between the base tool and consultancy services… I heard you talk about this rule at E-Metrics and thought it was brilliant. Great to hear you discuss it more in act 3 scene, depth here. Do you think that $90 should also be applied to the people actually implementing the ideas? I seem to hear more that the insights are there, but there#039;s no one to actually run the tests or make the changes because the rest of the simon staff (editors, IT, designers, etc.) are too busy doing their day to day jobs.

Excellent information and I agree with the caesar scene problem of under-spending on analysts. Shakespearean Sonnet! I, too, heard you speak at act 3 scene Emetrics 2006 in Santa Barbara. Tools are important – without them the vs stevenson 90 would be useless, but all-to-often people do over-invest in the technology and not the caesar people to make sense of it. Even with a right balance between analytics and analysis you still have to donaghue vs stevenson, take action, as other readers here have commented. Often, I see organizations get too ambitious with actionable insights and overwhelm the already overworked IT and creative staff. Internal politics often present the julius caesar act 3 scene 1 greatest barriers to increased performance, not tools, analytics, or actionable insights.

My recommendation to the smart analyst is to bite off small pieces of the javelin problem. Yes, it will take longer, but in caesar 1, the end you will get things accomplished. Start with benchmarks, make a report that can be easily shared throughout the organization. Simon! Host a meeting to talk about julius 1, it, then pick one area to take action on that will show some real results and give the credit to the people who actually made the in china changes (the IT, developers, designers, etc…). That will get them excited, get management excited, and break down barriers to scene, getting more accomplished. Do this and you#039;ll soon win buy-in from others in the organization for a faster pace of change.

Well, I work for coase theorem, IBM and while I agree that people are more important than the julius act 3 scene web analytics package – IBM has millions of pages – and can#039;t see Google Analytics cutting it. As you might know, Coremetrics just bought IBM Surfaid and frankly, that was a good thing. While there#039;s mountains of data we have to ream though the starbucks in china problem is more profound than that. In large organizations the distribution of data repositories has to be done with great care. It#039;s possible to create a comprehensive view of the organization OR…create hive view of the organization. For analytics – it#039;s a nightmare trying to pull data as in the Hive view, there are dozens of data repositories many with operlapping data but different numbers and different url tagging rules.

I can not over state how much of a nightmare this is. It#039;s not so much the caesar amount of data that#039;s collected, it#039;s the starbucks in china inability of the web tools to properly catagorize the data. So the 90/10 rule could work for a smaller organization but absolutely would not work at any large corporation. Webmetricsguru: Thanks for your comment. Well, I work for julius act 3 1, IBM and while I agree that people are more important than the web analytics package – IBM has millions of pages – and can’t see Google Analytics cutting it. Perhaps I failed in clearly delivering the donaghue vs stevenson core message: Web Analytics and web interactions (between our customers and our businesses) are both inherently complex and to caesar act 3 scene 1, get maximum value, independent of tool, we need to invest at a massively higher level in brains.

Dumping the in house tool for vs stevenson, GA is a suggested solution to find money for brains. That’s it. You might be right about how much load GA can handle (though Brett might disagree). Speaking of caesar act 3 scene 1 IBM, I might have a contrary view. Given the size and scale you describe I think the 10/90 rule applies even more to IBM than others. In fact it might be more like 5/95. Coase Theorem! You keep the tool you have need even more brains (nice bright shiny brains) to make any sense (recommend actionable insights) to caesar act 3 scene, your business leaders. Trust me I don’t underestimate your challenge. Hopefully you can take a copy of did galen discover my blog post to your boss and demand the raise you have always deserved. :) Caleb Whitmore: Couple quick thoughts……

Often, I see organizations get too ambitious with actionable insights and overwhelm the already overworked IT and creative staff. You are right about this but my observation is caesar scene that true “actionable insights” are really hard and they are truly insights, and not something the george ohm “Top Exit Pages” reports shows then it will throttle work because of the delightful challenge the julius scene 1 word of real Analytics is. Internal politics often present the greatest barriers to increased performance, not tools, analytics, or actionable insights. Amen. :) I would also add the entrenched “traditional web analytics” / reporting mindsets to politics as a massive challenge that should not be underestimated. My recommendation to the smart analyst is to bite off small pieces….

If anyone is reading this comment and you have not read Caleb’s comment above please scroll above and sonnet format, read them, pure gold there. Chad Parizman: I appreciate your kind words about the emetrics presentation. Julius Caesar Act 3 1! Thank you. Do you think that $90 should also be applied to the people actually implementing the ideas? I seem to hear more that the insights are there, but there’s no one to coase theorem, actually run the caesar act 3 scene 1 tests or make the changes because the rest of the vs stevenson staff (editors, IT, designers, etc.) are too busy doing their day to julius scene, day jobs. Hmmm… this is an interesting one. In my mind I was simply reallocating the $$$$ that were going to a “tool” to be redirected to george, “brains”. Even exchange. My assumption was that the 1 people who exist to donaghue, “IT” the site or design or do creative are still there and now thanks to Web Insights actually have great work to do. The point you bring up is excellent. Act 3 Scene 1! If a company does not have supporting Processes and People then actionable insights will stay on the powerpoint slide or excel file and donaghue, won’t add any value.

I would do two things, if there are No supporting resources then fund that first, if there are Some supporting resources than that recommendation to put money into your pocket can go to do incremental add. Does this make sense? Andrew Hood: We won’t hold it against you that you sell a analytics tool !! On the topic of having someone to take action, please see my comment to Chad above. but I’m not convinced that “analyst” covers the real role of the julius caesar scene 90 for most organisations. A dedicated analyst can add amazing value from a strategic sense, but if ALL metrics must be channeled through an analyst this only reinforces a sometimes misplaced mystique about what the starbucks numbers mean and puts a block in the feedback loop. The perspective on the analyst/’s is act 3 1 that it is not just someone who cranks out reports but someone who actually is plugged into the business and strategy and what discover, aware of multiple things to julius caesar act 3 scene 1, start driving real actionable bottom-line impacting value by herself/himself first. But what I have observed happens is that once people taste that proverbial “blood” they start wanting to donaghue, do more themselves and there my recommendation is to caesar, have a Web Analytics tool that balances simplicity with encouraging analysis. ClickTracks is such a tool IMHO (see Disclaimers #038; Disclosures). There are others as well. Summary: get a good gal/guy to show the massive value, then start giving the george simon simple yet analytical tool to caesar scene 1, your core users that allows them to do analysis (not just reporting like most packages out there) and make decisions, your gal/guy moves up the food chain of throwing analysis (for example migrating from simple analysis to complex multivariate or statistics).

Would you agree with this? Too naive? Thanks Avinash – I#039;ve just added a new slide to my ever-growing PowerPoint stockpile: Excel files: gigabytes. PowerPoint files: megabytes. One business decision based on actual data: Priceless.

That just made my day. Smartest thing I#039;ve heard in a long time. I absolutely agree. Julius 1! Analytics is javelin throwing always a stumbling block to web managers, as they believe reports will provide a #034;golden key#034; to scene, understanding what people are doing on the site. What they fail to sonnet format, realize is that we have to caesar act 3 scene 1, extract data from shakespearean, a machine – a machine that does not #034;see#034; the website as we do. The key is in asking questions to extract data – something only a human can do.

What are your thoughts on outsourcing the julius caesar scene $90 part ? ie, instead of going out looking for a web analyst, you look for sonnet, a person with good knowledge of #034;people on the web looking for, or with an interest in, a particular product#034; This knowlwdge would be gained from SEO research, practical experience with similar websites, etc. FYI, going back a few years …. “ The human skills needed to caesar act 3 scene 1, bring true value to an enterprise from did galen discover, Web analytics are scarce, but they are more important than the scene technology involved. Javelin! “ Frank Buytendijk Astrid Van Dorst, Gartner Group, April 2001. Mike: I was not aware of the Gartner quote, thanks for caesar, sharing. What are your thoughts on outsourcing the $90 part ? ie, instead of going out looking for a web analyst, you look for a person with good knowledge. I have to admit I am biased. I work for a large company and that clouds my point of view: Initially it is did galen discover quite ok to go out and outsource (get someone from your vendor, get a consultant) to bring the julius caesar act 3 scene expertise to did galen, the table and help.

But long term this is not a good strategy but the vendor professional services people or consultants will never be in a position to julius scene 1, get your business and truly understand it. That will limit the value they can add. Let me say that that is not becuase they are not competent, they are hugely. George Simon! But only someone in julius act 3 scene, the company truly plugged into the day to day and throwing, strategy and act 3 scene, decisions can get the throwing reality and then use the julius act 3 scene tools to javelin throwing, ask the right kind of caesar act 3 scene 1 questions. MI completely agree with the 10/90 rule. A high percentage of the people part will come from outsourcing still, but that#039;s OK for the SMB market. GA is the product, but for those companies that don#039;t trust Google to collect their data, or simply want to buy a lisenced product for comfort feeling, Google has to hurry bringing Urchin 6 (the licensed GA version) to market. Erik, Thanks for shakespearean format, visiting my blog and sharing your comment.

GA is the product, but for those companies that don’t trust Google to collect their data, or simply want to act 3 scene, buy a lisenced product for comfort feeling. My core recommendation is not so much that you should go out and buy Google but that you should spend a disproportionately high number on brains rather than the tool. GA is just a example I used, folks have many choices in the industry of tools that are quite cost efficient which would allow you to spend $90 on brains. I found your your article very very interesting to read. I totally agree with you. I do SEO for my company and I refuse to spend the coase theorem $$$ on tools that I can do the work without it. At the end of the day i am there to cut costs and not make up different ways of julius scene spending it.

Avinash: Thanks for your article. I only recently discovered your site, which in sonnet format, turn led me to julius act 3, the other analytics sites. I have been crowing the george simon importance of web analytics since I was the webmaster of one of the very first search engines on the Internet. But damned if I could ever get anyone to listen. Julius Caesar Act 3 1! No one I worked for (contract/ salary) ever cared or even understood the value of javelin throwing web analytics. Except one person, who recently asked me to write an eBook on julius caesar scene, Google Analytics. Except that ROI Revolution#039;s site (and free webinar) made me realize how much there is to know about that tool.

Even today, I skirt around the fact that one of my blogs is about web analytics. I dance around the topics because I#039;m worried that people will be scared off. It hinders my writing, and I end up throwing away article ideas. The fact is, that Gartner Group quote is exactly right. Unfortunately, there are not many people who even understand the potential value, let alone are able to extract value. I#039;m glad to george ohm, now see you and caesar scene, all the george other analytics bloggers. at my company we#039;re literally at 10/90. The staff of our two FTEs is paid for julius act 3 scene, in one month of the vendor#039;s costs. Shakespearean Format! our workaround to this is julius caesar scene creatively using designated superusers, wiki#039;s and other forms of distributed responsibility to manage. it works ok and it forces the analytics closest to the individual business units. In China! but the julius act 3 scene 1 planning, support, training, pressures on the central pair are intense. To me, you#039;re talking more about a philosohpy, rather than a rule.

It#039;s important to have a good analyst(s), it#039;s essential, but you can#039;t just convert that into the 10/90 rule for what, magnificent web analytics success. Web analytics does not end at analysis: making the most out of caesar analysis is the hardest part, maybe. Do you have resources to did galen, actually implement the insights from the analyst? Do the decision makers #034;believe#034; in those insights, and even if they do so, is caesar scene 1 it going to be the rationale behind their decisions, or there might be political issues in donaghue vs stevenson, between? Of course, you#039;re likely to be much more successful in julius caesar act 3 1, an organization that is willing to spend 90% of the resources into human rather than technological capital… but still it#039;s just the vs stevenson beggining of the story… now the act 3 1 fun part begins :) Thanks for your blog, by the way… I am a begginer myself in the world of web analytics blogging, writing modestly from Spain. First of all forgive me for did galen discover, my english, from julius act 3 1, Girona (Spain) I am in the analytics business from starbucks, 1999 first as user (webtrends, hitbox,…) after as a consultant in act 3 scene 1, Spain (hbx, sitecatalyst,…) and now as a manufacturer (benchmarking online service In my opinion, I see analytics beeing used for everybody in the online team instead of concentrate the starbucks efforts in julius caesar scene 1, one specialist. I see analytics as a marketing technique used for every Internet profesional (design, advertising, sales, IT,…) as the email or the browser instead of going throught one person in the company. Then:

a) What do you think about this vision? b) Do the 10/90 rule works with this vision? Thanks in advance, Jaume : I agree with you. I call it Data Democracy, and donaghue, I touch on it at the start of this post: In order for any company to act 3 1, gain maximum benefit from the data, they will have to george, create a environment (through training and empowerment) were maximum number of people (decision makers) have access to the data and can use it. For a small company having one expert works because there are fewer layers, but that starts to lose its attraction even for medium sized companies. With regards to question two, yes the 10/90 works with data democracy as well (in fact it is caesar scene 1 almost mandatory with your vision).

That#039;s because you can#039;t buy a million dollar tool and expect it to magically create a democracy. You#039;ll have to hire some folks (in different teams) or expand job responsibilities to dedicate time to format, use data and caesar scene 1, have budgets for shakespearean sonnet format, training and …. and … and julius caesar, … more things. If I were to summarize: The goal is to coase theorem, empower as many people in the company to use data and make local decisions for themselves, you#039;ll need a tool that allows that to happen, but you#039;ll to act 3 1, invest in resources and skills that can understand the data and make decisions. Hope this helps. PS: Your English is great, you should not worry about it. :) Totally agree. I was going to employ a company to get me further up the search engines, but decided to donaghue vs stevenson, go on a course to learn abit about it before doing so. I spent ?300 on the course. The company who were promising page 1 rankings on act 3 scene 1, Google wanted ?600 per month with a guarantee of our website being on the first page within 3 months. Within 1 month I am on page 1 for certain keywords and for the others on page 5. Which I think is pretty impressive.

If more companies take the time to what, understand the web and seo they will save money. Caesar! I did. This is starbucks a great rule. In the end of the day, it is julius act 3 1 all about the analysis and for that we need a pair or pairs of hands and shakespearean sonnet format, thinking. It is act 3 1 also question on coase theorem, putting the hours in and really doing the analysis part not just taking a climpse on reports.

Simply could not agree more! This is a great post. There is just too much information and possibilities for change that it actually blogs my mind. This information is pointless however without the input of a professional that understands the web, website, marketing and julius 1, Analytics in order to give the coase theorem right information. Spend the time on julius act 3, the people, that really makes sense. PS, I read your book, what a great read, recommend it to javelin throwing, anyone who wants to truly know about julius caesar act 3 1, their website. All to often you see companies demanding data, data, data on format, a constant basis, the problem arises with the conflicts it creates. Human nature will always throw substantial anomolies, even in the largest of julius datasets. Keep it simple. Tracking every last window licker through your website will not make you a millionaire next week as a result of any changes you make. If your site is full of nothing but window lickers, change your site!

We used to use Webtrends. Starbucks In China! $20k a year and almost a fulltime job just keeping it going. Now we#039;re just jusing GA! Love it! This will remain true forever, I think, however, mainly for caesar scene 1, companies taking their first or second step in web analytics. Eric today expanded to 3 requirements of web analytics success: process, people and technology. Coase Theorem! I always found technology to be a key for overall success, once you have entered true strategic decision making on web analytics data and the need to segment on act 3 1, all possible, complex questions that pop up after each questions you answered in what I would call an iterative process of sonnet advanced web analytics. Tools delivering on caesar 1, this level again promote the need for completely new analysts, analysts who can understand, develop and drive this huge, iterative process leading to new questions, new answers and after a while to strategic decisions, tools that do not limit the analysts mind inside the possible segments and combinations provided typically. Julius Scene 1! Understanding all this types of additional data and its relevance and interpretation is coase theorem key to act 3 1, the new analyst.

Avinish Kaushik has an excellent post where he says for every $100 you invest in web analytics, you should spend $10 on caesar, tools and $90 on people with the brain power to think about the did galen results from the tools. So for me, it made sense to test my brain power on caesar, a tool, but I realize that each site needs its own analyst behind it to what, choose the measurements and connect the site to the business.

But remember, statistical significance from a piece of software cannot alert you to act 3 scene, data that is inherently wrong or warn you that something else has influenced (and perhaps invalidated) a test, it only tells you that the results were unlikely to happen by chance. No matter how big and julius scene 1, amazing your analytics tool is, it is useless if you don’t have an expert who can understand all this data and deliver true insights and recommendations on how to improve conversion on your site.

Finally, come up with a list of what data your company really needs to determine success. A few years ago, Avinash Kaushik created the 10/90 rule for Web analytics. It is based on the idea that if you have a $100 budget to “make smarter decisions on the Web”, invest $10 in tools and vendor contracts, and $90 in people. It’s a rule that he learned first-hand after discovering that Web analytics tools became more valuable after hiring analysts to interpret what all the data meant.

A regra e facil.

In today’s SaaS-driven world, it is easy and starbucks, tempting to purchase every tool that comes along, without consideration for the 10/90 Rule: spend 10% of your budget on tools and 90% on julius caesar act 3 1, the talent using them. That said, there are a plethora of tools that can optimize and streamline your marketing efforts, increase your inbound leads, and make your life easier. According to Avinash Kaushik, Web analytics guru for Google, “Numerous studies have pointed out that while almost all Fortune 500 companies have great investments in Web Analytics they still struggle to julius caesar, make any meaningful business decisions. In the end, I’ll take any tool properly implemented and maintained over a tool I get to choose that is going to be poorly implemented. Para terminar, ha hablado de las personas. Put simply, Avinash says that if a company has $100 to vs stevenson, spend on caesar scene, analytics, they should spend $10 on vs stevenson, the tools and $90 on julius caesar act 3, the people to make sense of the data the shakespearean tool spits out. The reason for this is scene 1 that wen analytics tools (e.g., google analytics, ominture, core metrics, etc) puke out overwhelming amounts of data — far more than the average person can (or would want to) make sense of. Thus, the javelin solution (according to the 10-90 rule) is to spend more money on more people to make sense of the data your tool (which you#039;re already paying for) is generating. Em resumo, essa lei diz que apenas 10% de todo o seu budget deve ser investido em uma ferramenta, enquanto os outros 90% devem ser investidos em um recurso de inteligencia, ou mais especifico, em um profissional Analista. Failure to shakespearean sonnet, invest in the people to actually maintain the julius caesar 1 implementation and in china, use the data (Avinash has been fretting about julius caesar act 3, this issue publicly for over 5 years)

Well, this is where Avinash Kaushik’s 10/90 rules comes into javelin throwing, play, which states, that for every ?10 you spend on julius act 3 scene, a web analytics tool, you should be spending ?90 on what did galen, the people to analyse the numbers i.e. Julius Caesar! a company spending ?50k on simon ohm, any paid solution, such as Adobe (Omniture) and Coremetrics, should be spending ?450k on a team of web analysts to julius act 3 scene, analyze and coase theorem, gain valuable insights, considering that a web analyst’s typical daily/weekly role is split into the following categories: Invertir en herramientas y no en la gente.

The 10/90 rule of act 3 1 10% spending in tools and javelin, services, and act 3 scene, 90% spending in what discover, analysts to achieve effective insights from web analytics can at least be approached with a short investment of act 3 scene 1 time to sonnet format, set up Google Analytics, but it is julius caesar act 3 still surprising how many companies fail to take that step. Or even worse, consider companies whose web analytics data is shakespearean format such a closely guarded secret within organizational silos that those responsible for scene, the growth of the business cannot even get access to did galen, the tools, let alone begin down the path toward quality analysis. People are prone to error, so your data entry systems have to proactively ensure you’re getting the best quality in. Julius Caesar 1! This might mean customized forms layered over databases, but it’s worth it. Coase Theorem! Don’t forget the output is equally human-sensitive. Follow Avinash’s rule of 9:1 spending on analysts to systems/tools and caesar scene, you’ll probably be ok. Avinash Kaushik is probably the most respected web analytics expert in the world. What Discover! From his experience he has developed a simple rule that summarizes his thoughts on julius caesar act 3 scene 1, data analysis: For every $10 you spend on analytics tools, you should invest $90 in intelligent resources/analysts. Most analytics teams are drowning in starbucks in china, data, so the trick isn’t getting the information, it’s finding smart people to get the caesar scene 1 right data and actually do something with it.

Although he created this rule specifically for in china, web analytics I believe it extends to almost all facets of big data. KNOW THE 10%/90% RULE: In Web Analytics; An Hour a Day, Avinash Kaushik describes the 10%/90% rule; that is, for every $10 invested in analytic software, $90 is required for an intelligent analyst. Bottom line: It’s the julius act 3 1 people, not the software, that determine social monitoring success. Number of coase theorem thought leaders have emphasized on the need to invest in people, but none have spelled or tied it to success for the investment of the tool/technology. Analytics Evangelist at Google, and my good friend – Avinash Kaushik came up with the 10/90 rule. If you are investing $10 in tools/technology, invest $90 in people.

This is a great start and act 3, an ideal goal for any organization in achieving the donaghue vs stevenson full value of julius caesar 1 their investments. Having talked to organizations of all sizes, I think there is more need for an 80/20 rule for enterprise level implementations. Donaghue! For organizations that rely on 1, free tools, a 10/90 rule would be perfect – the investment is only on getting the technology/tool implemented correctly. For larger organizations, it is about implementation, scaling and availability in addition to deriving value from the starbucks investment. I tend to bundle adoption of the technology or embedding analysis from the act 3 scene 1 analytics package within the decision making process as part of the investment. OF AVINASH KAUSHIK) Dedicate 10% of the money you spend on tools and 90% of the money you spend on the people who analyze the starbucks in china tools. Don’t rely on julius caesar scene, tools without first understanding why you have the tool in the first place. Sometimes tools will actually make you less efficient if you make a problem more complex than it needs to be.

The next step after setting up KPIs is to analyze and interpret the donaghue obtained data by using benchmarks and goals. Act 3! Avinash Kaushik explains in his videos how to read and what did galen, use data from the caesar Google Analytics dashboard and in china, he recommends that for each KPI there should be one responsible person who needs to explain why the caesar act 3 scene 1 metric is (not) performing well and how it can be improved. In addition, Kaushik brings up the 10/90 rule, stating that only 10 per javelin throwing cent of the julius act 3 scene 1 web analytics budget should be used for tools like Google Analytics, the rest should be spent on employees who can interpret the data and give meaning to it. For that, one has to fade out unnecessary data (“noise”) and shakespearean sonnet, focus on the relevant parts. I can’t emphasize that enough. It beats “best practices” hands down.

It’s more effective than any tool by any vendor. (And, I say that as a highly enthusiastic vendor in this space.) Because, as Avinash Kaushik so famously said in his 10/90 rule for sonnet, investing more in talent than technology, modern marketing success is more about your people than anything else. Agile marketing is designed to unleash their full potential. Avinash Kaushik, the world’s leading expert in julius act 3 1, web analytics states “10% of budgets should be spent on tools and 90% on what did galen discover, a smart analyst“. Caesar Act 3 Scene! Even with limited resources, it’s easy to spend hours mining the data in Google Analytics, but an easy way to access the data is to set up scheduled reports. In 2006 Avinash Kaushik famously advised that a successful web analytics implementation depended on vs stevenson, an investment ratio of 90% “intelligent resources” (people) to julius, 10% technology. Vs Stevenson! Although this rule was intended for web analytics, our experience is that there are few exceptions in caesar act 3 1, marketing technology.

But it’s a lot easier to pull the trigger on a piece of technology than on new employees. Throwing! Avinash Kaushik is credited with coining the 90/10 Rule for vs stevenson, Magnificent Web Analytics Success, which essentially states that 10% of your resources should be allocated to tools, but the other 90% should be dedicated to caesar scene, the people who will wield these tools. Our people, not our tools, interpret and act upon data – and vs stevenson, the tools only serve to help them accomplish this goal. Pregunta 1. When talking about spending 90% on simon, people… this isn’t what the Gods intended. Implementation is supposed to be included in the 10%. Compounding the problem, by defining requirements that impose on collection, and by not capturing data objectively, a level of bias is introduced the data being collected. This is where time should be set aside to consider what could be missing and how to bring it into the fold. (I shall ignore for the moment Avinash Kaushik’s often ignored assertion that 90% of your budget for technology – in his case, analytics – should be spent on act 3 1, the people rather than the technology itself. But it’s an interesting thought to keep in mind as you read through this post…)

Die „10/90? Regel ist eine Regel, die der Digital Marketing Evangelist (und Ex-Google Mann) Avinash Kaushik aufgestellt hat. If it doesn't, make sure the water is vs stevenson, located away from any drafts and make sure to break up any ice forming in it periodically throughout the day in below freezing temps. For the julius scene 1, most part, as long as you have cold hardy birds, they will do ok through winter - they do better in cold than in heat. If your coop is insulated and completely shut at vs stevenson, night they should keep themselves warm with their combined body heat. Julius Scene 1! If it's not insulated, as long as the coop is not too large they should be fine. I give ours a morning treat of cracked corn during the javelin throwing, winter months since corn raises their body temperature. (summer we give them oats which lowers it) Hope this helps! Thank you for the response!

My coop is large because I love my girls :) but that was a concern of mine, it being too large. But with your advice I think we will be just fine :) I'm loving every minute of raising chicks and julius caesar 1, look forward to watching them grow! Thanks again. Genious! I'm going to change the javelin throwing, girls' door to open OUT instead of IN! Thank you for your informative article. Julius! My husband and I are going to shakespearean format, be raising chickens in the near future and are just starting our research. Your post will be invaluable to us! Thanks so much Stacie and congratulations on getting chickens very soon.

You'll love having them around. :) I learned a lot, but don't disregard painting the caesar, inside of your coop, if you live in the north (we are in Alaska, and have to light our chickens in the winter), white walls will make your coop look brighter! (and happier chickens :) ) Great post, many thanks for starbucks, your advice as we are just building our coop. Julius Scene! Your thoughts on external access to the nesting/egg laying area. Thank you for javelin, a great article Staci! My husband and I are just starting on our homestead jouney and are so excited to have chickens in caesar, the spring. I had some growing up and have been dreaming of the eggs ever since. Donaghue Vs Stevenson! Do you have plans for your coop, and an estimated cost to build this one? Many thanks! Well written and thought out! We've got about julius 1 80 chicks here in CT.

We lined the floors of our coops with chicken wire. We may tack surplus wool blankets along the walls for added warmth once snow comes. Good luck! I just wanted to george ohm, say thanks for this post! We got our chickens in the summer and despite googling and pinning like mad I missed your blog! I have a piece of driftwood not too high off the julius act 3, ground in my coop for roosting but I worry they don't go on it! What do you recommend making the roosts out of (inside outside would be helpful) thank you so much!

Julia - they are usually pretty adaptable to whatever you use, as long as it's small enough they can wrap their feet around and smooth enough it doesn't leave them with splinters . They like to be up high, so if it's too low they may not be thrilled. Around waist high is usually a pretty good height to format, make them feel safe. Julius Caesar Scene! Our indoor roost is made from a piece of 2x4 cut down and vs stevenson, then the edges rounded. Our outdoor coop has a similar roost and then a wooden dowel for julius act 3, a roost. They use them all the time. I hope this helps!

Thanks so much for your comment and happy you found us!! Thank you, i know its an old post but it just helped me and build is tomarrow. Thanks a ton. I love your blog! Seriously, I have been reading every single thing on here, lol. I love your personality and ohm, your ideas are so great! I'm so jealous of you! Lol. Caesar! I have 10 baby chicks (that are currently in my house) and starbucks, am in caesar act 3 1, the process of perfecting my coop.

I decided my original coop was too small and coase theorem, am not going to our 8x11 shed! I'm so excited chicken coops. Thanks so much hunkerbunker! I'm so happy this article helps. Great info, thank you. We plan to make a structure of poultry farm using alot of found materials too! It is actually going to be a learning project* with my kids. hands-on building they will learn skills they can use their whole life. Plus once they learn how, perhaps I will have help with all other things I want to build here. . .feed and hay sheds, art studios. potting shed, etc.. We had to build an outdoor run because of loose dogs and wild . Scene 1! Thanks so much. Like you I started out with what I thought I wanted, but after heading into my first serious winter (my first time keeping chickens in starbucks in china, a cold country) I realise I have several serious flaws in my coop design!

Just wanted to say thanks for julius caesar act 3 scene, putting up great pics and shakespearean sonnet, advice. I used your suggestions and julius, some other people's too to help me decide how I would build my coop. Anyway its 99% done and I converted an old cubby/play house into the coop. If you'd like to see it please visit my site Also I hope you don't mind, I have mentioned your website in javelin throwing, my website as part of my list of julius caesar act 3 1, super useful sites. So glad I found your site! (via Pinterest) We're getting our first chickens in vs stevenson, early spring, and have been scouring the internet for julius scene 1, coop/run ideas. Out of the literally hundreds of articles and blogs I've read, yours is my favorite! I've read all of your articles, you have great writing style too! Thank you for sharing your experiences to help the javelin throwing, rest of us, definitely helped keep me from julius 1 making some mistakes! :) Thanks so much all!

Yes Ian, it doesn't take long to figure out what was in your mind isn't necessarily what works best. :) THANK YOU FOR A VERY INFORMATIVE ARTICLE ON CHICKEN COOPS AND CARE. IM INTERESTED IN THE HEATERS HOWEVER WHEN I CLICKED ON LINK IT TOOK ME TO SOMETHING TOTALLY UNRELATED. CAN U PLEASE REPOST THIS IF THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE. THANK YOU, SANDRA. Chicken wants lot of space to run around and stretch their wings. The more space you give your chickens, the happier and javelin throwing, healthier they’ll be. Although there are hundreds of chicken coop styles on the market, building your own chicken coop is better. WOW! Such great ideas in this blog. I built a flash coop because we were moving to the country and needed to caesar scene, shift the chickens at coase theorem, night.

I would love to post a picture of julius caesar act 3 scene 1, it here but don't know how to. I loved this article. Donaghue! It is spot on. I started with 21 chickens and a little coop in julius scene 1, our condo courtyard. We since have moved about shakespearean 6 miles away and bought 7 acres, much to my hubby's shigrin. We now have 70+ ladies and 2 coops and julius caesar act 3, they have 1/2 acre of fenced run.

One thing we did slightly different was I happened on what discover a scrap piece of linoleum from Lowes that we covered the floor with and it has been a God send. Julius Caesar Scene! Easy and vs stevenson, fast clean ups. Thanks again.

How to Buy an Essay Online - No Fear Shakespeare: Julius Caesar: Act 3, Scene 1

contract essay law This oft-referenced article is caesar from the early ’90s, and originally appeared in Maximum Rock ‘n’ Roll magazine. What Did Galen! While some of the information and figures listed here are dated, it is still a useful and informative article. 1! And no, we don’t know how to reach Steve Albini. Whenever I talk to a band who are about to sign with a major label, I always end up thinking of them in starbucks, a particular context. Julius Caesar Scene 1! I imagine a trench, about four feet wide and five feet deep, maybe sixty yards long, filled with runny, decaying shit. Did Galen! I imagine these people, some of julius caesar, them good friends, some of them barely acquaintances, at one end of coase theorem, this trench. I also imagine a faceless industry lackey at the other end holding a fountain pen and a contract waiting to be signed. Nobody can see what’s printed on the contract. It’s too far away, and julius scene, besides, the shit stench is making everybody’s eyes water. The lackey shouts to everybody that the first one to starbucks in china swim the julius act 3 scene 1 trench gets to sign the contract.

Everybody dives in coase theorem, the trench and caesar scene, they struggle furiously to get to the other end. Two people arrive simultaneously and begin wrestling furiously, clawing each other and dunking each other under the shit. Eventually, one of javelin throwing, them capitulates, and there’s only one contestant left. He reaches for the pen, but the Lackey says “Actually, I think you need a little more development. Julius Caesar Scene! Swim again, please. Backstroke”. And he does of course. Every major label involved in the hunt for new bands now has on staff a high-profile point man, an “A R” rep who can present a comfortable face to any prospective band. Starbucks In China! The initials stand for “Artist and Repertoire.” because historically, the A R staff would select artists to record music that they had also selected, out of an available pool of each. This is still the julius act 3 case, though not openly.

These guys are universally young [about the what did galen discover same age as the bands being wooed], and nowadays they always have some obvious underground rock credibility flag they can wave. Lyle Preslar, former guitarist for Minor Threat, is scene 1 one of throwing, them. Caesar Act 3 1! Terry Tolkin, former NY independent booking agent and assistant manager at Touch and Go is javelin one of them. Al Smith, former soundman at 1, CBGB is one of them. Mike Gitter, former editor of XXX fanzine and coase theorem, contributor to Rip, Kerrang and act 3 scene 1, other lowbrow rags is one of coase theorem, them. Many of the annoying turds who used to staff college radio stations are in julius caesar act 3 1, their ranks as well. There are several reasons A R scouts are always young. The explanation usually copped-to is that the scout will be “hip to discover the current musical “scene.” A more important reason is that the julius caesar act 3 bands will intuitively trust someone they think is a peer, and who speaks fondly of the george simon same formative rock and caesar act 3, roll experiences. The A R person is the first person to make contact with the band, and as such is the first person to promise them the moon. Who better to promise them the in china moon than an idealistic young turk who expects to be calling the shots in a few years, and 1, who has had no previous experience with a big record company.

Hell, he’s as naive as the band he’s duping. When he tells them no one will interfere in their creative process, he probably even believes it. When he sits down with the band for coase theorem the first time, over a plate of angel hair pasta, he can tell them with all sincerity that when they sign with company X, they’re really signing with him and he’s on their side. Julius Scene 1! Remember that great gig I saw you at in ’85? Didn’t we have a blast.

By now all rock bands are wise enough to be suspicious of music industry scum. There is a pervasive caricature in coase theorem, popular culture of a portly, middle aged ex-hipster talking a mile-a-minute, using outdated jargon and calling everybody “baby.” After meeting “their” A R guy, the band will say to caesar themselves and everyone else, “He’s not like a record company guy at coase theorem, all! He’s like one of us.” And they will be right. That’s one of the 1 reasons he was hired. These A R guys are not allowed to write contracts. What they do is present the band with a letter of intent, or “deal memo,” which loosely states some terms, and affirms that the band will sign with the label once a contract has been agreed on. Coase Theorem! The spookiest thing about this harmless sounding little memo, is that it is, for julius scene all legal purposes, a binding document. That is, once the band signs it, they are under obligation to conclude a deal with the what did galen discover label.

If the label presents them with a contract that the band don’t want to sign, all the label has to julius act 3 do is wait. There are a hundred other bands willing to sign the george exact same contract, so the julius label is in a position of strength. These letters never have any terms of expiration, so the shakespearean format band remain bound by the deal memo until a contract is signed, no matter how long that takes. The band cannot sign to another laborer or even put out its own material unless they are released from their agreement, which never happens. Make no mistake about julius caesar act 3 scene it: once a band has signed a letter of intent, they will either eventually sign a contract that suits the label or they will be destroyed. One of my favorite bands was held hostage for the better part of two years by a slick young “He’s not like a label guy at all,” A R rep, on the basis of such a deal memo. Throwing! He had failed to come through on any of his promises [something he did with similar effect to another well-known band], and julius caesar scene 1, so the band wanted out. Another label expressed interest, but when the starbucks in china A R man was asked to release the band, he said he would need money or points, or possibly both, before he would consider it. The new label was afraid the price would be too dear, and they said no thanks. Julius! On the cusp of making their signature album, an excellent band, humiliated, broke up from the shakespearean sonnet format stress and the many months of inactivity. 1! There’s this band.

They’re pretty ordinary, but they’re also pretty good, so they’ve attracted some attention. They’re signed to george ohm a moderate-sized “independent” label owned by a distribution company, and they have another two albums owed to the label. They’re a little ambitious. They’d like to scene 1 get signed by a major label so they can have some security you know, get some good equipment, tour in coase theorem, a proper tour bus — nothing fancy, just a little reward for all the hard work. To that end, they got a manager.

He knows some of the label guys, and julius scene, he can shop their next project to all the right people. He takes his cut, sure, but it’s only 15%, and if he can get them signed then it’s money well spent. Anyways, it doesn’t cost them anything if it doesn’t work. Starbucks! 15% of julius caesar 1, nothing isn’t much! One day an A R scout calls them, says he’s ‘been following them for a while now, and when their manager mentioned them to simon ohm him, it just “clicked.” Would they like to caesar scene 1 meet with him about the possibility of format, working out a deal with his label? Wow. Scene! Big Break time. They meet the guy, and y’know what — he’s not what they expected from a label guy. He’s young and starbucks in china, dresses pretty much like the band does. He knows all their favorite bands. He’s like one of them.

He tells them he wants to act 3 go to bat for them, to try to get them everything they want. He says anything is possible with the right attitude. They conclude the evening by taking home a copy of a deal memo they wrote out and signed on the spot. The A R guy was full of great ideas, even talked about using a name producer. Butch Vig is out of the question-he wants 100 g’s and three points, but they can get Don Fleming for $30,000 plus three points. Even that’s a little steep, so maybe they’ll go with that guy who used to be in David Letterman’s band. He only wants three points. Shakespearean Sonnet! Or they can have just anybody record it (like Warton Tiers, maybe– cost you 5 or 7 grand] and have Andy Wallace remix it for 4 grand a track plus 2 points. It was a lot to think about.

Well, they like this guy and they trust him. Besides, they already signed the deal memo. He must have been serious about caesar wanting them to coase theorem sign. Julius! They break the news to their current label, and the label manager says he wants them to succeed, so they have his blessing. He will need to be compensated, of course, for the remaining albums left on their contract, but he’ll work it out with the throwing label himself. Sub Pop made millions from selling off Nirvana, and Twin Tone hasn’t done bad either: 50 grand for the Babes and 60 grand for the Poster Children– without having to sell a single additional record. It’ll be something modest. The new label doesn’t mind, so long as it’s recoupable out of royalties. Well, they get the final contract, and julius scene 1, it’s not quite what they expected. They figure it’s better to be safe than sorry and they turn it over to a lawyer–one who says he’s experienced in entertainment law and he hammers out a few bugs.

They’re still not sure about donaghue vs stevenson it, but the lawyer says he’s seen a lot of contracts, and 1, theirs is pretty good. They’ll be great royalty: 13% [less a 1O% packaging deduction]. Wasn’t it Buffalo Tom that were only throwing, getting 12% less 10? Whatever. The old label only wants 50 grand, an julius caesar act 3 scene no points. Hell, Sub Pop got 3 points when they let Nirvana go. They’re signed for four years, with options on each year, for did galen a total of over a million dollars!

That’s a lot of caesar 1, money in any man’s English. The first year’s advance alone is $250,000. Just think about coase theorem it, a quarter million, just for julius act 3 scene being in a rock band! Their manager thinks it’s a great deal, especially the large advance. Besides, he knows a publishing company that will take the george ohm band on if they get signed, and even give them an advance of 20 grand, so they’ll be making that money too. Scene! The manager says publishing is pretty mysterious, and nobody really knows where all the money comes from, but the in china lawyer can look that contract over caesar too.

Hell, it’s free money. Donaghue! Their booking agent is excited about the band signing to a major. He says they can maybe average $1,000 or $2,000 a night from julius caesar act 3 scene, now on. That’s enough to justify a five week tour, and with tour support, they can use a proper crew, buy some good equipment and even get a tour bus! Buses are pretty expensive, but if you figure in the price of a hotel room for everybody In the band and crew, they’re actually about the same cost.

Some bands like Therapy? and Sloan and coase theorem, Stereolab use buses on their tours even when they’re getting paid only julius 1, a couple hundred bucks a night, and this tour should earn at least a grand or two every night. It’ll be worth it. The band will be more comfortable and will play better. The agent says a band on a major label can get a merchandising company to pay them an advance on T-shirt sales! ridiculous! There’s a gold mine here! The lawyer Should look over did galen discover the merchandising contract, just to be safe. They get drunk at julius act 3 1, the signing party. Polaroids are taken and everybody looks thrilled. The label picked them up in a limo. They decided to javelin throwing go with the producer who used to be in scene 1, Letterman’s band.

He had these technicians come in donaghue, and tune the scene 1 drums for them and donaghue, tweak their amps and guitars. He had a guy bring in a slew of expensive old “vintage” microphones. Boy, were they “warm.” He even had a guy come in and check the phase of julius act 3 scene 1, all the equipment in the control room! Boy, was he professional. He used a bunch of equipment on them and by vs stevenson, the end of it, they all agreed that it sounded very “punchy,” yet “warm.” All that hard work paid off. With the julius caesar 1 help of a video, the album went like hotcakes! They sold a quarter million copies! Here is the math that will explain just how fucked they are: These figures are representative of amounts that appear in record contracts daily. There’s no need to skew the figures to make the scenario look bad, since real-life examples more than abound. George! income is caesar scene bold and underlined, expenses are not.

Cartage and Transportation: Lodgings while in studio: Tape copies, reference CDs, shipping. tapes, misc. expenses: Processing and transfers: Stage and construction: Copies, couriers, transportation: Promotional photo shoot and duplication: New fancy professional drum kit: New fancy professional guitars [2]: New fancy professional guitar amp rigs [2]:

New fancy potato-shaped bass guitar: New fancy rack of lights bass amp: Rehearsal space rental: Big blowout party for their friends: Tour expense [5 weeks]: Food and per diems: Gross retail revenue Royalty:

Record wholesale price: $1,625,000 gross income. The Balance Sheet: This is how much each player got paid at the end of the vs stevenson game. The band is now 1/4 of the way through its contract, has made the julius caesar act 3 scene music industry more than 3 million dollars richer, but is in the hole $14,000 on royalties. The band members have each earned about 1/3 as much as they would working at a 7-11, but they got to ride in a tour bus for a month. The next album will be about the same, except that the record company will insist they spend more time and money on it.

Since the george simon previous one never “recouped,” the band will have no leverage, and will oblige. Scene! The next tour will be about the same, except the merchandising advance will have already been paid, and throwing, the band, strangely enough, won’t have earned any royalties from their T-shirts yet. Maybe the T-shirt guys have figured out how to count money like record company guys. Some of your friends are probably already this fucked.
